My Nephew!!!!

Well my nephew Damian is a year old today. I can't believe it time flys by so fast. Well he never really liked to walk he would take like 2 steps then he would fall down & crawl. Last night he decided he was going to walk I was so proud of him I love it! I was so excited. I think it's funny how he decided to start walking the night before he turns a year old. My brother said he was holding a baseball in his hand & he started to walk towards him. How cute is that. Well anyway I just wanted to inform you guys =). C-ya!

Let It Go!

I'VE BEEN TRYING TO FIND THIS POEM BY( T.D. JAKES) FOR THE LONGEST TIME & I JUST NOW FOUND IT. I READ IT WHENEVER I HAVE A BAD DAY MAKES ME FEEL BETTER. TO ME IT SPEAKS THE TRUTH.

There are people who can walk away from you. And hear me when I tell you this! When people can walk away from you: let them walk.

I don't want you to try to talk another person into staying with you, loving you, calling you, caring about you, coming to see you, staying attached to you. I mean hang up the phone. When people can walk away from you let them walk. Your destiny is never tied to anybody that left.

The Bible said that, they came out from us that it might be made manifest that they were not for us. For had they been of us, no doubt they would have continued with us. [1 John 2:19]

People leave you because they are not joined to you. And if they are not joined to you, you can't make them stay.

Let them go.

And it doesn't mean that they are a bad person it just means that their part in the story is over. And you've got to know when people's part in your story is over so that you don't keep trying to raise the dead.

You've got to know when it's dead.

You've got to know when it's over. Let me tell you something. I've got the gift of good-bye. It's the tenth spiritual gift, I believe in good-bye. It's not that I'm hateful, it's that I'm faithful, and I know whatever God means for me to have He'll give it to me. And if it takes too much sweat I don't need it. Stop begging people to stay.

Last Weeks Thirsty Thursday!!!!

So last Thursday we had Thirsty Thursday at Legends a few co-workers got together & it was fun. Pictures will be posted in a few mins. I left early but before i left David got on stage & sang Ignition by R.Kelly it was so funny. I'm mad at myself for leaving early b/c from what i hear Brandy & David sang Ice Ice Baby by Vanilla Ice. Next Thirsty Thursday I will not be leaving early =).

Hey Guys I know it's been a long while since I wrote last. Nothing new has been going on. Just the same old things. Hey if you haven't checked out www.prayforkyle.com you need to =) He has gotten so big. Keep him & his family in your prayers. Oh before i forget my cousin Tito got engaged to Jacklyn Douglas in Venice, Italy how romantic is that!!!! I'm so happy for them. They deserve the very best in life =). This weekend my brothers & I are going to go take pics at sears for my parents wedding anniversary gift! Their anni. isn't until April 6th, but we need the pictures of the four of us before then. Well I'm going to get off this thing now before i get in trouble here at work (hehe).
